Martin Patřičný – classical artists, Prague
Martin Patřičný was born in 1955 in Prague. He learned his craft from his uncle (wood carving and turning). After graduation from a secondary school he worked in a number of jobs (shop assistant, window-dresser, driver, stock-keeper, woodcutter, etc.). Since about 1988 he has been fully concentrated on the art of wood carving. He has been living and working in Debrno near Kralupy nad Vltavou.
