Exhibition – Jaroslav Svecený: Famous European Violins – Prague 2009


Collection of unique instruments once belonging to masters from private collections from several European countries. During guided tours, visitors will have the chance to see and hear the Czech Stradivari’s violin (Kaspar Strnad) as well as the Prague’s Stradivari (Ferdinand August Homolka). In addition, the film Four Seasons of the Prague Castle will be shown. The project also encompasses two gala concerts in the Municipal House and a series of concerts in other venues in Prague. Svecený along with guests will perform works from Czech and international masters and introduce selected instruments from the exhibited collection.
